i stepped into kjun midweek with a colleague for lunch since our office is nearby. we've been wanting to check it out for a while since the chef was on top chef. it's a quaint little spot with minimal seating. we were a party of 2 and were seated at the bar. it was a tight area but it was cool to be able to watch the staff at work! now i'm neither a fan of fried nor southern food, but the fry on the their rendition of fish and chips is very well executed. i didn't get a lingering greasy taste in my mouth at all which is excellent in my book! the honey chips are also to die for! the deviled eggs were mid, but i'm not unhappy we tried it. unfortunately my colleague did not enjoy the grilled cheese, but he really enjoyed the accompanying kimchi stew. this was definitely a splurge for a lunch meal, but worth trying if you're in the area.

I recently dined at KJun and had an overall enjoyable experience. Despite the space being quite small and visiting on a very hot summer day with less-than-ideal air conditioning, the meal was delightful. We added an extra person to our party of two at the last minute, and the staff, including both the waiter and chef, were incredibly accommodating and generous. We truly appreciated their flexibility. As for the food, my favorite was the chicken gumbo. It was perfectly seasoned and incredibly tasty, making it a standout dish. The fried chicken was good, though not outstanding. The pork ribs, however, were fall-off-the-bone tender and very flavorful. The portion sizes were larger than I expected, which was a pleasant surprise. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed my meal and look forward to returning to try more dishes.

A great balance between New Orleans and Korean food. Everything is super tasty and a surprise to the palate. The space is super small so be careful not to clash the table to the next customer seated next to you. Otherwise enjoy your time here

An extremely fun and innovative concept!! The chef does an amazing job of marrying classic Korean cuisine with the flavors of creole cooking. It was incredible!!! The okra kimchi was sooooo good!! Loved everything we tried - fried chicken, fried oysters, kimchi jambalaya, etc. would pass on the dessert, it was good but nothing spectacular.
